Directions
By Car:
From the A714, take the turning at Clachaneasy signposted Wood of Cree. Take the first turning right after the forestry road, again signposted Wood of Cree, then after roughly half a mile the driveway to Brigton will be marked on your right. Postcode DG8 6SR.
By Bike/On Foot:
Brigton is just off the Southern Upland Way, 7Stanes and National Cycle Trail 7. If you’re exploring the area on foot or by bike, get in touch with us for detailed instructions from your route.
By Bus:
The Stagecoach 359 bus between Newton Stewart and Glentrool/Girvan stops at Clachaneasy. From there, take the road across the bridge and follow the ‘by car’ instructions above.
By Train:
The nearest train station is Barrhill on the Glasgow to Stranraer line, approximately 9 miles away. Taxis can be booked in advance, or the bus can be caught from Barrhill, a 20 minute walk from the station.
